Help the Homeless Walk-a-Thon
University Yard
H Street, NW between 20th and 21st Streets Teams will be composed by residents of individual residence halls with prizes for the most represented dorms. The Office of Community Service also will put together teams of alumni, off-campus students, staff, and other members of the GW community.

Food Drive
Campus-Wide
As part of Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, there will be a food drive benefiting the Capital Area Food Bank. Collection points include the Marvin Center (800 21st Street), Academic Center (801 22nd Street), Rice Hall (2121 I Street), and the following residence halls: Ivory Tower, and Thurston, New, City, and Somers halls.
Food will also be collected during the Foggy Bottom Clean-Up on Kogan Plaza during the Day of Service.

Raas Chaos

The South Asian Society of The George Washington University would like to welcome you back to the nation's most premier Garba Raas competition—Raas Chaos. Garba/Raas is an Indian form of traditional dance that originated in the Gujarat region. This dance is a very energetic, colorful, and playful; however, the goal of Raas Chaos is to not only focus on displaying the values and expressions of this form of dance, but also in promoting cultural awareness and friendships among students from across the nation.
Competing universities include Columbia University, Duke University, John Hopkins University, New York University, Northwestern University, Rutgers, University of Florida, Virginia Tech, and The George Washington University.
Please come out and support the South Asian Society and its endeavors. Tickets are $17 and are available at Lisner Auditorium,
