Parking is extremely limited on GW’s Foggy Bottom Campus. If you must drive to campus, arrive early to allow time for parking. Parking information is available online at
What time does the inauguration ceremony begin?
The academic procession begins at 9:45 am and the ceremony will immediately follow. All guests are asked to be seated by 9:30 am.
Are tickets required to attend the inauguration ceremony?
We recommend that you register online to attend the inauguration ceremony. The registration link is provided in the digital invitation you received. Seating is first-come, first-served.
What should I wear to the inauguration ceremony and to the inaugural celebration?
Business attire is suggested for the inauguration ceremony at the Charles E. Smith Center. Business or business casual attire is suggested for the inaugural celebration at the Science and Engineering Hall.
If I am not able to attend the inauguration ceremony in person, can I view it online?
The inauguration ceremony will be livestreamed at inauguration.gwu.edu on Monday, November 13.
Are there accommodations for individuals with disabilities?

Accessibility at Charles E. Smith Center
The section of seating reserved for guests who are wheelchair users or who have restricted mobility, is located in boxes 6 and 10, and at the front of the yellow seats in sections 202-205. Each guest sitting in this area may be accompanied by one additional person.
The section of seating reserved for guests who have restricted mobility, is located at the top of the blue seats in sections 102-104. Each guest sitting in this area may be accompanied by one additional person.
We recommend use of either the Box Office entrance or the northeast entrance, located at the corner of G and 22nd Streets, NW, to access the Smith Center, because both entrances offer ample ramp access. In addition, we suggest an early arrival to ensure that you reach your seats comfortably. There is no special parking at the Smith Center. Guests who are wheelchair users or who have restricted mobility can be dropped off at the Box Office entrance. Smith Center ushers will be available to assist with seating.
